i had my first birthday surprise for the year tonight:) Beeg THANK YOU to my G12 for orchestrating the whole thing!:) thanks guys, im really very touched ok!:) i didnt suspect a thing cuz after all its still early, and they mentioned celebrating next friday. but they said they wanted to be the first to celebrate with me. aww. hahaa to think i almost didnt show up cuz i had to email zequan my GV17 project by tonight and i was trying to finish up. We were playing pictionary and yokeyeong drew this picture of a cake (it looked more like a wedding cake than a birthday cake!), and we were guessing all sorts of ridiculous things, and then suddenly the whole group started singing happy birthday. hahaa good one. i really didnt see it coming! :) Oh and i got a mic from them!YAY. one off my wishlist:) and it sounds awesome on my roland:):)

ive been so tired out lately. late nights due to procrastination. i really need to have better time management!
im glad its the weekend, though it simply flies by:( took a break today and went shopping for guitar stuff!:) i love going to Swee lee although bras basah complex is really ulu kampong. its nice and spacious, unlike most guitar shops that are really cramped and have very little walking space. You can take your time to peruse and look around, trying out instruments, admiring the gorgeous guitars on display, and i love the smell of wood there.
So anyway. i FINALLY got my amp! After much deliberation between getting a marshall or a vox , i decided to stick with what i wanted in the first place before looking for alternatives...a Roland Microcube!
In pristine white no less:) AND, i got it at 40% discount! The last time i got a 40% deal was during last year's official swee lee sale where i had to queue for more than 3 hours for my guitar! This time i didnt have to queue at all! Thank God i didnt buy the 2nd hand Roland earlier. I got brand new one for only $10.10 more!hahaa.
Heh so now that ive gotten my amp, and ive fixed my Simon&Patrick acoustic (got it back last week), all i want to do is just stay home and play guitar! im still such a noob la. i cant fully utilise the functions of the amp cuz i still cant play certan genres like funk or jazz. ive beenstuck in a rut for quite awhile, havent really improved much this past year. it requires alot of time and discipline, especially to learn on your own. but ive got my motivation back:)
